Map Making Competition with prize money

We need some good new ladder maps.

While there aren't a lot, perhaps any, active experienced mapmakers if there is sufficient interest from the community I'll host a competition with prizes as following:

1st $50
2nd $20
3rd $10

If you are willing to commit to creating a serious attempt at making a map please indicate in a post below.

Since TBD is on its deathbed it will probably be ball maps only.

Hmm... Would not call myself "experienced" at mapmaking... But I've turned out a few.

I really want to revive this or recreate a new competition. I want to create two categories. Below are the winning available.


Ball: $50 (1st), $25 (2nd), $10 (3rd)
TBD: $50 (1st), $25 (2nd), $10 (3rd)

I'd pay in any form (paypal etc.) but i need enough interest. The reason behind this is because there aren't a lot of maps being created anymore compared to few years ago and its quite sad. I've always enjoyed playing new maps and because TBD is dying new maps might make it much more interesting. BALL is the most played mode and I thought it would be unfair for map creators who specifically focus on BALL maps not to participate. If anyone wants to help with judging, let me know.
