Brazil & Australia Servers
Just messing around with Amazon EC2 locations. Putting Brazil and Australia servers up temporarily. If either of these locations is used I might keep the location online.
If you have any feedback or requests for these servers let me know. |

It would be extraordinary if that Brazilian server saw some movement, thanks a bunch for the thought... it shouldn't see much use though, very few players ever used one that was up on 2012, when the player base was larger. I only know of two other players from Brazil and maybe two others from countries around.

I didn't realize we had servers in Brazil before. There are actually 17 players from Brazil in the ladder database and a few more elsewhere in South America.
I really don't expect either of these server locations to be used but I have a free year of Amazon EC2 and have nothing else to use it for. |

Really do appreciate the Aussie servers, it's quite a coincedence that you released the servers the day after Australia day. Great work with all the servers you've put up recently.

I noticed a large amount of South American players in my US West server tonight. I just put a Brazil server back online (one physical server, several different Altitude servers) in case a lot of South American players are in fact starting to play Altitude.
Due to the heavy concentration of them in the US West server I suspect they may known each other or been part of some kind of group trying Altitude. Like most of the new players they would not talk to me when I was trying to offer them a closer server. This server is not cheap and will not keep it online for more than a month or two at most if it is not used. |
