Oceania new servers and players needed

Hi everyone,

Down here in Oceania (Australia, NZ, Philippines, Papua New Guinea etc) we have had a bit of a rough ride over the years. If you know anyone in the Oceania region, please let them know about this, because they would be excited about this news.

A short while ago, our main servers "LTTD" were shut down.

As you know, having a low ping is vital to great gameplay.

That's why, for Oceania players, we are starting up two new Oceania servers for us all to play on! Hopefully we can get a league, ladder or at least some regular games going on. Previously we have had some absolutely mad games and even a State of Origin ball game which you can see some great videos on Bockit's youtube video at the bottom of this post.

We have some absolutely fantastic players in this geographical area, and if you are in this area, we invite you to join in the fun.

Lots of Veteran players have registered interest. Lots of others I haven't seen before too have expressed desire to destroy each other in some Oceania servers.

This is going to be absolutely insane.

I am impressed how many people respect Altitude. So many people don't get the same experience with other games. Altitude delivers a unique experience.

I have been playing recently in some US servers, and even with 250-300 ping I have seen some previously un-seen situations, and there is always something new to learn in Altitude.

I can't believe how excited I still get when playing Alti.

It's just so mad.

Anyway, I hope to invest in the server tonight or tomorrow if I can't find a suitable one. The support on these forums has been overwhelming and I thank each and every one of you for your PMs and Steam hits.

Keep destroying each other and causing madness.

Yeah we would appreciate as many servers as possible, if you want to chuck it back up that would be good but no wakkaz, probably better to wait until I get more players on and get some popularity going...

The more the better. Especially when there are at least 2 clans requesting server usage.

Everyone, we've had two absolutely mad games over the weekend. One on Friday and one on Saturday.

The servers are officially up!

We now have 140 maps in the "ALL maps/co-op server" and 79 maps in TBD/BALL server.

There has been heaps of interest and word is spreading.

So far Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays are the most popular but the weekdays are looking good too, I'll let you know the most popular days.

Games usually start around 7pm-late

Some epic passing, some unbelievable rebounds, some new **** happening, lots of "lol nice" and "wtf" still happening.
