SL 10 Playoffs

Servers:
Vanishing's Ladder servers

Style: BO3 double round robin format. 1st play through of the round robing top team starts veto (ABBA format) and bottom team picks server (AAB format). Loser picks map after first game. During second play through, the roles will be switched.

Teams can substitute twice during a game. 6 players + 1 sub will start the game.

I won't be there, if any questions arise please contact: SSD, Aki, Van, or ball'n

Map Pool: For regular season only, teams once a server has picked will run command: /voteRandSLMaps <5>. The maps chosen by this command will be the map pool for the match between two teams. Playoffs which will likely be a double elimination style bracket with all 7 teams (this could change if teams start to not show up, etc.) will likely have fixed map pools.

Winner's Bracket:

Round 1: Cave, Core, snow, cross, maze
Round 2: Grotto, asteroids, skylands, labyrinth, ice
Semis: Cave, Asteroids, planepark, warehouse, cross, lostcity, illumination (bo5)
Finals: Cave, Grotto, maze, Skylands, ice, core, labyrinth (veto: AABBB A picks server: AABBBAA)

IF needed, Grand Championship of all time ever: asteroids, snow, hardcourt, illumination, cross, warehouse, planepark

Loser's Bracket:
Round 1: Grotto, asteroids, hardcourt, illumination, mayhem2
Round 2: Asteroids, Snow, funnelpark, labyrinth, illumination
Semis: Planepark, hardcourt, illumination, snow, ice, core, maze (bo5)
Finals: Asteroids, cave, grotto, cross, funnelpark,lost city, mayhem (bo5)

7 team double elimination brackets are awkward. Teams in the loser's bracket can decide if they want to play the second round this week or have a longer week next week.

i will probably be back right around 2 to post a bracket to challonge, if you guys could post the results of the ball/zrog game in this thread for tiebreaking purposes so i don't have to go asking in the server that'd be awesome

Also, for anyone confused as I at first was, the paragraph in DN's post about round robin style and server/veto system is copy and pasted from old posts and is not indicative of how it will work from now on. I believe the higher seeded team in each match picks the server and the other team begins the ABBA veto with the given map pool.

I put NY servers up as a backup US location. This is not the NY server I usually use. Not even sure that I have ever tested this host with Altitude, but I use them for another game with no issues. For US, should play on NJ as normal unless anyone has real bad ping on NJ but playable ping on NY.

Usually I split bo7 series into 2 videos. I will have the first part up sometime tomorrow and the second part by Tuesday.

I believe everything recorded fine other than I forgot to touch the mouse on the recording computer during one game and idled out for like 1 to 2m.
