THEY WILL LOCK AT 12:00PM EST ON MARCH 17TH.



I will be hosting a March Madness bracket pool for the Altitude community. All are welcome and it is free to join (unless any of you want to go in for a small cash pool). More information on how to join will be explained below.



RULES:
-Teams are allowed TWO brackets
-Brackets are LOCKED as the Round of 64 begins

bumping because it's 1 day until selection sunday and also i'm pissed uva just lost their 1 seed. i'm glad that wisconsin is a 1 seed now and i definitely think they should be, but i would've bumped duke down and not uva. or even bump both of us down to a 2 seed and move zona up to the 1 seed slot.

also if you haven't already, check the updated top post for any information you may need about the tournament.

With the tournament coming to a close tonight, I'd like to thank all of you for participating. At least for our group, tonight's game will be a special one. The only two people with points remaining are darknietzsche at 940 and kafka at 1150. As you both have different title winners, this game will decide the winner of our pool. It has been a pleasure serving with all of you and I wish the best of luck to both dn and kafka (even though I'm seriously pulling for duke to win).

Hi friends, I hope you've been enjoying the absolute chaos that has been this season of college basketball. I'm bumping this thread because it's almost March and you all know what that means: it's almost time for MADNESS. To catch everyone up, the current 1 and 2 seeds are:

MIDWEST:
1. Kansas
2. Michigan State

EAST:
1. Villanova
2. Miami

WEST:
1. unc
2. Oklahoma

SOUTH:
1. VIRGINIA
2. Xavier

However, given how this season has gone so far, those might as well be 15/16 seeds (except uva, the one true #1 seed). I hope you are all as excited as I am to participate in march madness again and hopefully you will all join me in our bracket pool once again. Let's look forward to a month of maryland upsets, unc upsets, and michigan state getting knocked out in the first round. And, maybe even another UAB upset (shoutout to clapon).

I'll make another post and update the thread on selection sunday, but for now I just wanted to make a quick post to spark some interest and see who will be returning/joining us this year.
