APL 12 Preseason

Seedings were done randomly.

Style: Single elimination bo1 final/3rd place match will be bo3.

Map Choice: Team on Top (away team) picks map from list below, team on bottom (picks server) If a team doesn't show up consider it a 1-0 win for the other team. Finals/3rd place match can not use same map during series.

Teams can substitute twice during a game. 5 players + 1 sub will start the game.

So I know for 3 teams they will only play 1 game in this style tournament. However, a single day tournament that was either double elimination or round robin would take a lot longer, so I suggest teams if they want to continue playing, find scrims afterwards.

Preseason is only for seeing if teams can show up and no benefits come from winning preseason.

I may not be there on Sunday, probably will have a better idea Saturday, but if questions arise SSD, ball'n, or aki can take in my stead.

SSD is more knowledgeable in TBD and therefor the superior option. I could be a filthy purple for all you know.

I expect to add separate APL preseason servers that will not be running the parser. So expect to have to run things as in the past.. normal voting for /startTournament /changeMap etc.

I will add all APL admins as well as any ladder admins who are registered to an APL team to the server admin list. Ladder servers will be ready for APL by next Sunday except for possibly clan chat.

I probably won't be online or will at least be late.

OK APL preseason servers are up. Hopefully everything is configured correctly. I'm in a huge rush and don't have time to get ladder servers up too, but can probably get them running for after preseason if anyone wants to continue playing.

For the admins..

You have access to the modifytournament command so you can use that if you'd like today to add/remove players from tournament without having to start/stop.
