Default Sound Problem

Last week, I noticed that I can hear my afterburner and shots. However, I can't hear other players' afterburners and I only occasionally hear other players' shots (so like only a few times I hear it, but most of the times I don't). I checked my files, and I am pretty sure I have all the files or I couldn't have heard my own plane's sounds as well. I also can't hear any of the big_bomb sounds (big_bomb_falling.ogg, big_bomb_explode.ogg).

I am running Windows 8 (not 8.1)

Here are my specs (if needed):
Processor: Intel Pentium CPU B970 2.33 GHz
RAM: 2.00 GB (1.71 usable)
System Type: 64-bit Operating System, x64-based processor

Sorry, but for the sound devices, I just copied everything from my DxDiag related it to sound devices and pasted it here

Please help me ASAP, I would appreciate it much...

Left out the important part of your setup which is sound card and speakers/headphone. I personally experienced something close to what you describe with a specific pair of Razer headphones. I know they had a 7.1 or stereo switch and I think it sounded fine on stereo but not 7.1.

Basically if you happen to have any audio settings on 5.1/7.1 surround, try them on stereo. Also make sure audio drivers are up to date.

First, thanks for at least trying to help me. Now, let's get into it. One, my speakers are on stereo. Second the problem isn't with the speakers, it's with something else since I have the same problem with my headphones.

As for my audio devices, check them up.

Again, please help me ASAP

You didn't go get the newest driver yet. http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/...&GetDown=false

Check the box, click next, and get the 64 bit driver. After installing, if still experiencing issues open the Realtek HD Audio Manager and make sure speaker configuration is set to stereo and virtual surround is off. Or if already set like his try other combinations and check sound in Altitude.

First, which driver are you talking about, all can be for 64 bit except one, or are you talking about the one that is only 64 bit?

Second, how do I download the driver, after I check the box and click next, I get a table with drivers and their description, etc.., but when I click on the driver description nothing happens and I can't really find somewhere to click

Last but not least, I already have virtual surround off, and in speaker configuration I have only one choice which is stereo...

Yes the 64bit only, 2nd in list. 64bits Vista, Windows7, Windows8, Windows8.1, Windows10 Driver only (Executable file)

The download links are on the right side ("Global"). I meant to double check the settings after installing the new driver.

How low have you set your ingame Sound Effects Volume? If you have it set too low, the sounds get bugged.

The threshold is around here.
