admins need to know what's going on before the games start. for example, pacman, you had no idea what the map pool even was going to be until we played our first match against you. rules need to be set in stone and you need to be able to say things like "we are moving servers because this server blahblahblah" or "we are playing this map because **** you i'm a t rex", not "lol i dont even know map pool but this server doesnt have 2 of the maps ive decided on for half a week now".

my only problem^^

Before I throw in a couple criticisms, I wanna first say that I enjoyed the tournament and hope to see more in the future

1) I think non-teamers should just automatically be rolled into a team by default, and they should know that that's how it's gonna be from the get-go. Would make it easier to organize, I think. And, perhaps, one of the tournament organizers should be the de-facto captain of said squad.

(Compare that with "okay you guys just go organize yourselves or whatever," which resulted in things being very disorganized)

I had to put up with a lot of organizational snafubars, with almost no time whatsoever, and I didn't even want to be captain to begin with. The only reason we even were able to play was because (404) didn't show in full strength and we just absorbed two of their members that did.

2) Pick a date, preferably on a weekend, and stick to it. The Sunday-to-Monday-back-to-Sunday switches confused the hell out of a lot of people and made lots of people back out within a few days of the tournament starting. My roster for DH was changing literally every day because of this.

3) Ditto on leggo's comments on the maps-on-servers situation. Map pool should have been finalized at least a week before the tournament, not the day before.

4) I dislike slick and clocktower >.>

It's very cramped, just expand some dimensions and it'd probably play a lot better. >.>
