Okay, while I'll admit there is a time for American muscle and place in our country, I think it's a bit pretentious to say that "we got it right" compared to the European market.

I mean, look...

My all time favorite:

Compared to perhaps the Cobra, the GT40, Corvette, maybe the old SS?

We got American Muscle right (Mercedes can't come close with their AMG series), but cars in general? I think from small to luxury to exotic, Europe has us beat for all time greats in automotive history.

Again, I think muscle cars are something we can do and do very well compared to the rest of the world, but let's be honest: you're going to get an exotic Italian supercar or german-engineered masterpiece if you have the money as well.

I'd own this and it's affordable.

There's also a decent amount of good used M3s, M5s, Mercedes AMG, etc. I just posted 4 examples.

Also:

You can get a decent used DB9 for the same price of American Muscle. So it's not like muscle cars are disproportionally cheaper than all european exotics.
