I got a little project going on where I need games that create the level from your audio file. I already know of:

Beat Hazard
Audiosurf
The Polynomial
1... 2... 3... KICK IT! (Drop That Beat Like an Ugly Baby)
StepMania
Frets on Fire

Does anyone know any other games with same concept? Games must be for pc.

Guitar Hero 3 is quite easy to add your own files, just need to convert them to some different format and gg.

I know many others as well but I can't remember and I gotta run to school right now; perhaps I'll post later.

It is an elite beat agents style rhythm game that works very similarly to stepmania (much harder imo unless you have a calibrated touch screen or are very nimble with a mouse)

Does osu create beatmaps on its own? Thought users had to make them.

I think it does. Kinda works like Audiosurf.

Just checked, Osu! only features user created beatmaps.

I miss the summer I discovered Stepmania. Hooked up a decent foam dance pad to my PC, downloaded a couple community packs and played multiplayer until my legs couldn't handle it. Then I switched to keyboard
