biplane vs biplane -- I know I'm doing something wrong
I feel like I need to improve on my biplane
I have some ideas on things I should concentrate on, the objective of which should be to make neat, favourable engagements, but I feel like there are a few things I'm missing to actually execute it well. I make all kinds of mistakes and misteps, overextending, not taking advantage of oppurtunities, changing my mind at the last minute and getting a load of bullets in my side, making a positional blunder and forcing myself to thrust right before an engagement... bleh. I'm in the progress of collating a kind of general guide on altitude for newer players (I'm hoping to reflect and improve my own play too), and it'd be nice to hear some opinions on my own play before I go telling newbies that they should play like this and this >_> (my idea is to collect wisdom from guides made by players who can actually play, but I am also going to write some stuff myself; see the AltiUniversity thread) Any biplaneish wisdom anybody is willing to impart would be nice. I'm not into biplane a lot though I consider it very easy to play. Watching briefly your video, you might need to take into consideration that in this game you cannot hit more than 4 keys at the same time because it just won't work. So for example, in rough turns, you will not be able to slow down, turn, fire primary and secondary weapons and use your powerups, so take great notice of the 4 keys you'll use at the same time and you'll improve your mechanics overall.

9kro ftw
I think that's a restriction of your keyboard, not the game; on my system, 4 keys at the same time seem to work perfectly. (I have a 9 key rollover keyboard)

It's not a user-end "issue", the game will have no problem processing 4 commands at the same time but do more than it and it will do nothing. Try it for yourself.

okay, I guess I was *right* even though I was confused. My keyboard is 9kro with antighosting, so no problem here

You need to time your bursts better, a bunch of your damage is lost because you burst too early when your aim is still off. Also, work on that flying/aiming, basics help a lot and they're different for each plane, so if you're new to biplane that checks out.
