Server understanding

Okay for one thing i did'nt post this in guides area since i'm the ask'er not the answer'er
Second im a starter to both altitude and the forums this being my first message
Third now im gonna explain the topic basically i need to understand how to host a global server like all those 60 ones ppl play basically this is meant to be a server mainly for asian people as most servers are usa and thus far far away from us asians.
I wish to know how to host a server anyone can access not one just based on my ip i tried searching for it on forums and via google but no results so pardon me if i am repeating something already said a million or 1 times

Edit:Now i have another question is it possible is there any minimum horribly low chance to get a free vps?(and no i do not wish to know cheap vps or demo vps) or is there a small chance for altitude to make its own free vps server? so anyone can make servers provided 1 per ip adress and host activeness on ANY server? since like most games ive played we can usually make our own rooms but then altitude could be different....Also for tht other link u gave me tht wiki one im sick and tired of it all it tells is how to get the things FOR the server nothing else altitude should give more detail

unfortunately i dont think what you are describing is possible, however im not all to informed myself when it comes to hosting a server. maybe someone with more knowledge of the subject will chime in

You might be able to find a trial or something for a VPS. But I do not believe there are any that are 'free'. You can however host a LAN server (Local Area Network Server) which is ran from your computer as the server. The server will use your IP Address to do so.

VAN1SH1NG does a good job on explaining how to get a free one through Amazon for a year. Might check it out.

If you want to host a LAN make sure you download Altitude from Altitudegame.com which will come with a Server Configurator, Server Launcher, & a Map Maker.
