Demo Information
NOTE: This information no longer applies as Altitude is now 100% free. You do still have to unlock most of the content by playing the game.
The Altitude demo allows players the ability to experience a significant part of the game for free before making the decision to purchase and unlock the remaining content.
Installation and Account Creation
- Select your operating system and download the installer.
- Run the installer and follow the directions to install the game files on your computer.
- Dive right in and enjoy the game! Playing through the tutorial before joining a multiplayer server is highly recommended.
Demo Restrictions
The demo gives players unlimited access to the first red perk of all five planes as well as several green and blue perks. Although server admins have the option to prevent demo players from joining the places they host, this power is rarely utilized. The Altitude demo does not have a time or leveling limit and allows players to continue to level and unlock perks beyond those available in the demo. Upon purchase of the full version, a registration code will be sent to the player's e-mail address. By using this code and upgrading the account to the full version, the player immediately gains access to perks that were unlocked, but were restricted in the demo.
