windows 8 on laptop need help

is there a way to turn off the really f*cking annoying touch pad, phone like, features. like pinch to zoom etc cos they are starting to drive me insane. most of the time i have a gaming mouse to use but for the odd time that im using the touch pad it drives me crazy.

Go to "Hardware & Sound"

Go to "Mouse"

Go to "Device Settings" tab

Click on "Settings"

Uncheck the boxes of the undesired functions

Click "Apply"
